A Poem to honor my Father

Our Father Who Art in Heaven

Ode to Alan W. Drew

By, C. Heidi "Feece” W. Drew

My father was a man of tremendous pride

For us to know and him to provide

In love and support and as a guide

I felt such privilege by his side

I’ll miss this man with all my heart

And try to do deference for his part

In offering me the very best start

To live life fully as was his art

And honorably, I will seek in my soul

As to his guidance in obtaining goals

And full filling dreams while I grow old

Facing the unknown as it unfolds

The great unknown where Daddy’s gone

Doing his grace we must carry on

In the presence of our Lord he is strong

He’ll hold us close where we all belong

My Favorite Life Drawings I've done so far this year

These drawings are all done at open life drawing sessions in Wellington, New Zealand since January of 2007. They are all from 15 minute to 45 minute poses. They are anywhere from 42cm x 59cm in size - too large for my scanner and I have yet to figure out how to best photograph them. They are all on white paper.

This was done with water soluable oil pastels.

This was done with conte crayons and pencils

Conte Pencil.
