Two more new poems
Misunderstanding and
Conflict

Words
on a page can flatter or enrage
Words
from a mouth, misunderstood, disengage
Long
term affects one never knows
As
relationships sink, shrink and on the brink
One
grows
Conflict,
sleep on it, maybe renewal
Will
refuel the difference or bring understanding
Reprimanding
is demanding not expanding
Faulting
is grandstanding
The
conflict exposed
Conflict,
who are you comes to mind
Reaction,
retraction, satisfaction or inaction
Love
be my guide, humor aside
Interaction
takes us on a ride
Abide
***
Thanks and Now Giving

Improv
or improve
It's
all about getting in the groove
Thanksgiving
or Thanks, now, for giving
And the mystery of living
Meting
or comparing
How
are you faring?
Are
you accepting offers
Or
counting the coffers?
Are
you high status in your meeting?
Is
it lonely up there?
Well
come down now and let's share
Can
we all get there?
Don't
fall when you tilt
Or
even cry over the milk spilled
It
could make us all wilt
Just
like guilt
Black
Friday is for counting the coffers
But
think of them as offers
Obama
is president and what an example
Hope
is just a sample of what's to come
