Poignacy for a poem
Poignancy
By, C. Heidi Drew
April 9, 2012 (Easter)
Something pertinent to my experience
Emotionally revealing and sharing
But, still all my own personal sense
Sonorous words with ideas not sparing
Prattling and babbling along like a brook
Until ideas become pedestrian and convoluted
A story completed before the end of the book
The reason is lost and purpose polluted
One's life is defined by others commentary
We can not control the expositions told
Authenticity is individual yet extraordinary
Why we search for an idea of God as gold
How art and creation has become what I seek
Is gold the mission of these arts I create?
Should God listen when my arts speak?
If others don't care, should I hesitate?
Strong emotions of all sorts I hope to evoke
Laughter and beauty is my joyous result
Positive needs the adverse for results to provoke
Fe and male together creates a child then adult
Not a dolt though this is rather potential
Another marker and maker in the amaranthine
In time unknowing of an ending is essential
Shocking and evocative getting under the skin
